Account Manager - North Hampshire - Up to £37,500 plus BONUS

Our client pride themselves on providing top-quality building materials and exceptional service to their customers, and are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Account Manager to help grow and maintain their strong, established customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Portfolio Management: Proactively manage a portfolio of established customers to increase their spending with us. Identify opportunities to provide solutions and expand the range of products supplied.
  • Profit Maximisation: Focus on maximising profit returns from customers by being project-focused, commercially aware, and setting appropriate terms.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers both face-to-face and virtually, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Relationship Building: Manage enquiries and orders through strong working relationships with branch colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Engaging Personality: Create excellent first impressions and portray a professional, credible image to customers.
  • Partnership Development: Ability to develop long-term partnerships with customers to add value to their business.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong ability to analyse account performance and leverage opportunities for growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: A strong background in building materials is ideal, along with experience in sales or a customer-facing role.
  • Self-Discipline and Motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive Attitude: Enthusiastic and proactive approach, seeing opportunities rather than obstacles.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Maintain exceptional customer service standards.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license is essential.
